“Raise a glass to freedom—something they can never take away.”
If you aren’t familiar with that quote, then you, my friend, need to listen to the soundtrack of the musical Hamilton, possibly one of the best musicals ever by a modern genius writer, composer, singer, and actor, Lin-Manuel Miranda. (Here’s a link to the soundtrack on YouTube. Seriously, give it a listen. It’s incredible.)
As the title indicates, today is Independence Day here in the United States, commemorating the day that these English colonies became independent on July 4th, 1776. Well, and then after that, the self-declared Americans began committing mass genocide against the Native Americans due to whiny entitlement and Manifest Destiny and all that crap, but that’s another story. This whole deal practically changed the course of world history in general.
QUICK WARNING BEFORE YOU READ THE REST OF THIS ENTRY: I will be freely speaking my mind about some controversial topics and blatantly displaying my hatred for a particular “politician”, so keep that in mind in case you disagree with what I’m saying. Freedom of speech/of the press… bitches. (I am on my third cup of coffee, so do excuse my immaturity. I may be a little too energetic.)
While people are out celebrating with fireworks and barbecues like we silly Americans do, I’m working today. I can’t complain, though. I personally enjoy my job, though I’m talking about more than my regular full time job. Writing this blog, developing my game, making dumb YouTube videos, composing music, and working on my novel—to me, these five are my real jobs. I just work a regular full time job to make ends meet while I follow my true passions.
As you can likely tell, I’m not what this national society dictates as patriotic, especially when I am 356% against the evil monster that somehow claimed the title of President. You may not agree with my stances or opinions, and pardon my immature and harsh language, but fuck Donald Trump. You may already know, but because of some things that orange thing that claims to be the President posted, we are calling for the 25th Amendment to be taken into action, a clause stating that if the President is unfit to carry out their duties as President, mentally or physically, then they can be removed from office. In fact, if you would like to join in on the action and piss that orange thing off, use the hashtag #25thAmendmentNow all over social media. It’s making it angry, which is exactly what we want.
Despite nationwide anger towards that orange thing, its evil plans are still being carried out. Sometimes, it makes me think that violent revolution might be the only resolution. No, I am not at all advertising that we should assassinate the orange thing, but think about it. Back in the American Revolutionary War, violent protesting was what won the battle. Ever since that orange thing has been in office, people have been protesting, and it only results in those people getting injured. That orange thing fires anyone who disagrees with it, and publicly bashes on those who defy it. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if I got in trouble for writing this blog entry and publishing it publicly. I have nothing but complete disrespect and utter hatred for that orange thing, and I wish for that to be known to everyone. The nation won its independence back in 1776 because the people rose to the occasion despite everyone else telling them to stay down and shut up. Who’s to say that isn’t necessary here? That orange thing knows it has a bad omen coming for it, but it’s trying to do as much damage as it possibly can before that day comes.
I apologize to the usual readers of my blogs. Typically, I spread messages of love and peace, not hatred and war, but if we allow that orange thing and its administration to remain in office, we may have another World War on our hands. I would prefer that we put an end to the damned beast before that happens. Some of you may lose respect for me, but I’m okay with that. If you are not opposed to the orange thing and you gain hatred against me for freely speaking my mind, then you are likely not the type of person I wanted respect from anyway. As for the rest of you, I apologize for spreading such an angry message. It simply had to be said. Liberum mundo vivat.
