My Return/Changes to the Blog

Greetings, friends! My goodness, it feels like it’s been forever since I wrote one of these. Mostly because it has been forever. I usually only write these when I’m at work, and I was away from work almost all of last week because of jury duty, which was certainly quite an experience. It was the first time I truly felt like a grown up. No one wants to grow up, but it felt nice to do something new. I didn’t like the process, per se, especially with how smoky it is here in Southern Oregon, but I did appreciate doing something different.

Either way, I’m glad to be back, and there is a bit of an announcement I would like to make. Over the past three months I’ve been writing these blog entries on a more regular basis, I’ve been trying to stick to a consistent topic, and for the most part, I have! It’s usually about writing or life in general, and as much as I enjoy writing about those, I think I’m going to be making a big change regarding the topics I write about. Writing about writing can only go so far, and life advice can be redundant sometimes, so I figured I’ll go with something else I’m passionate about that I can write about over and over and never get redundant—video games.

Video games in general make up such a wide topic. I can write about so much regarding them! I can write an entire essay entry about aspects of a specific game, discuss my opinions in comparison to the opinion of the masses, give my thoughts regarding new games, write reviews, the options are endless. That’s what makes me so excited about my new setup. I legitimately can’t wait to write tomorrow’s entry.

It’s been quite a hiatus, but I’m back again. I’ll see you tomorrow.
